Dance interwoven with text

The bridge linking dance and word purposely creates a holistic experience. The subtitle “DanceImagesWords – WordImagesDances for 2 female and 2 male dancers” spells it out precisely….. Images, when combined with the words of Argovian poet Andreas Neeser, transform themselves into dances. One art form energizes the other, embraces it, deepens it, intensifies it – a very modern form of creation. Clearly, the experiment is a success.

Poetry that makes sense

….in outstanding fashion, the piece successfully builds a bridge between flamenco of the first order and Andreas Neeser’s poetry. The merging opposites create their own language, “sensual and skin-deep” – in accordance with the intentions of the poet, whose words inspired the piece. Alternating between slow and fast, superficial and cryptic as well as distinct and indistinct elements, the piece juxtaposes various dialogue contrasts. What begins like a harmless flirt thus ends in a wonderful and aimless symbiosis of dance and poetry.
